New York, NY – October 13, 2009 -- J Records recording artist Baby Bash will co-host the Top 10 songs on the Rhythmic CHR/Urban version of The Weekend Top 30 with host Ramiro. On the show, which airs the weekend of October 17 and 18, Baby Bash will tell listeners the inside scoop on his next CD and share his humorous take on recent headlines in music news including stories surrounding Mariah Carey, Kanye West, Cassie and more. Baby Bash is riding the wave of smash single “Outta Control.” In recent years, he’s has worked on tracks with Flo Rida, Plies, Jennifer Lopez, Carlos Santana, Pimp C, UGK, Nate Dogg and more. His music has become a staple on radio, with a string of hits including “Suga, Suga,” “Baby, I’m back,” and “Cyclone.”
Growing up in Vallejo, California, Baby Bash found inspiration in classic west coast rap as a kid, and his passion for hip hop pushed him to excel as an independent rapper at a young age. "I did it all on my own. I grew up in the hood, and I've seen the worst of the worst. Even through the tough times, I was always a jolly dude. I know that life, and it inspired me to do something positive with my music."
