THE DAILY HOUSE OF HAIR CUT TO HONOR THE 1ST ANNUAL ROCKLAHOMA CONCERT

A Full Week of Programming Dedicated to Rock Festival
New York, NY – May 23, 2007 - United Stations Radio Networks, Inc., (USRN), an independent leader in the creation and marketing of network radio programming, and Bernadette Productions today announced that, in honor of the First Annual 80’s Rock Festival known as “Rocklahoma”, The Daily House of Hair Cut program will suspend its usual programming for one week to focus exclusively on coverage of that festival and its bands. The announcement came from USRN’s EVP/Programming, Andy Denemark and Pam Edwards, the Executive Producer of The House of Hair and its new spinoff, The Daily House of Hair Cut.
Rocklahoma, produced by Catch the Fever Music Festivals, Inc., will be held in Pryor, Oklahoma during three days, July 13-15, 2007. Twenty-three bands are scheduled to play during the three-day festival, making Rocklahoma the largest ‘80’s rock festival of its kind to be organized. The lineup of performers includes Poison, Ratt, Winger, Dokken, Vince Neil, Warrant, White Lion and Jackyl. The band fronted by the host of the House of Hair, Dee Snider’s own Twisted Sister, is headlining the festival on Sunday night. The festival’s promoters have said that, as of this writing, tickets have been sold in all 50 states and on six of the world’s seven continents.
According to the Producers and Distributors of The Daily House of Hair Cut, the decision to focus on the festival was an easy one once Twister Sister was added to the bill. “The short, daily format of the House of Hair Cut is flexible enough to cover topical news stories in the format when they pop up,” said Pam Edwards who created the series. “Our House of Hair staff will be at the festival, and we’ll be talking about it all that week on our daily reports.”
Twisted Sister’s ROCKLAHOMA appearance is the band’s only announced North American show for 2007 and the performance will feature Twisted Sister, full on with costumes, make-up and all five original members. The announcement of Twisted Sister’s addition to the Rocklahoma lineup was made by Dee Snider on the weekly House of Hair program. On the show, Dee announced, “It is my distinct pleasure to announce that Twisted Sister will once again be involved with a show that will go down in history. On July 15th, Twisted has just been confirmed as the headliner for the ROCKLAHOMA Festival.” Snider also said during his broadcast that, “Rocklahoma will go down as one of the most momentous concerts of all time.”
THE DAILY HOUSE OF HAIR CUT™ with Dee Snider is a daily, Monday through Friday feature that began airing earlier this year and is a companion program to the weekend House of Hair program which has been on the air for ten years with Dee Snider in the hosting role since the beginning. The House of Hair is broadcast weekly on nearly 200 stations in North America.
