Louisville Rock Band to Release New Album September 13 on Rock Ridge Music

New York, NY, August 3-Rock Ridge Music announced that hardDrive, a nationally syndicated rock radio show that features today's new rock with a hard edge, would be sponsoring a Midwest leg of the current Five.Bolt.Main tour. The Louisville based hard rock band is currently on the road in advance of their debut album, Venting, which is due out on September 13 on Rock Ridge Music. Five.Bolt.Main features former members of Flaw, including lead singer Chris Volz as well as original members Ivan Arnold (drums) and Ben Patrick (bass). Flaw, which was signed to Republic/Universal Records, released two albums that sold almost half a million copies before being dropped in late 2004.

hardDrive is America's leading current-based rock music program broadcasting two hours weekly of new rock and exclusive interviews with today's most sought-after musicians. The show is hosted by Rock radio legend Lou Brutus and produced by industry veteran Roxy Myzal. hardDrive airs on over 110 affiliates nationally and has been on the air for nearly a decade.

"I am so glad that (lead singer) Chris Volz has landed on his feet with this new band Five.Bolt.Main!" says Myzal. "The man is a potent lyricist and performer. I'm totally looking forward to seeing these guys on the road!"

With a sound uniquely its own but with influences that span every inch of the hard rock landscape, Five.Bolt.Main writes songs with vibrant melodies, yet maintain an in-your-face delivery that will label them as a new generation in metal. They do, however, have a wide range of influences that extend from the old school rock of Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath, to the post-punk grunge flavor of Alice in Chains and Faith No More, and even 80's pop icons Journey.
